I just happened to be looking out the window this afternoon and spotted a vole race across the garden to the tree. He then dived into the centre of the tree and rummaged around for food. I lost sight of him for about twenty minutes, but then he came out again. I got some photos but they were taken with the spotting scope and full zoom so are not great, but you can definitely see him.
Soon after this last pic a squirrel came running over spotted him and attacked him. The vole then ran off back to where he came from and the squirrel sat at the bottom of the tree eating.

We have a selection of deer coming into the garden every night now. Some arrive before dark, but most after. We have a single one that comes on her own, then another group of three and a group of two. Here is the duo, although only one is the star.
