Well we have seen evidence of the deer in the garden and caught a couple of quick glimpses of them but tonight three turned up and stayed for about 20 mins.

As the weather worsens we will see a lot more of them - or at least we hope so.

They turned up just after we had a good amount of snow flurries. It was coming down quite thick and fast and some stayed on the ground, but it should all be gone by morning, although more is promised for later in the week.

We are seeing the first snowfall of the season to hit our house. We have seen other snowfall when traveling but this is up close and personal. It started off this morning as very fine snow but the flakes are getting bigger and chunkier now. Hopefully it will not settle although it is cold enough.

Oh well, just have to accept that winter is on its way.

I spoke to my aunt and uncle in Spain yesterday as it was his birthday and they are having brilliant weather at the moment. Hot, dry and sunny, but not too hot. They said we should go over - if only it was that simple! One day hopefully we will get back there, but it won’t be anytime soon.
