The TT is no more, we now have an Astra

Our car swap is now completed. We sold our existing car, my beloved Audi TT and have hired another car (Vauxhall Astra Sport) for the next 3 months. We can extend the contract if we want to or just get another car at the end and have it for another 3 months. We will have to wait and see.

Although it was a sad seeing the other car go it is the sensible thing to do. It means that when we get our visa we can just hand the car back and go, no hassle.

I noticed on one of the forums yesterday that someone with a May 04 AOR actually got their med request. That is the first May AOR we have seen go through so far. Their AOR was actually at the end of May, whereas ours was at the beginning so hopefully we will hear soon.

Also, yesterday we had someone else look round our house, a young couple with two small kids. They made all the right noises, but they haven’t sold their house yet, so we will have to wait and see.
