At last – contact from CHC

Yesterday we got a letter from CHC asking for more information relating to my husbands children. They wanted to know that they will not be accompanying us and that they are non-dependents.

He has two daughters from his previous marriage. They both live with their mother although we see them often. Neither wants to come to Canada and so we are sending a letter back to CHC giving them the details and stating that we do not want to sponsor them now or in the future.

This will hopefully mean that neither will have to have a medical. The letter states that once they get this info they will issue our medical papers. Fingers crossed that it won’t take too long now.

One giant leap into emigration for us!
