Cleaning & painting the house
Went to Future Shop this morning to buy a microwave. Also got some groceries before spending the entire day at the house. Hubby painted the guest bedroom whilst I unpacked all our goods to follow boxes did more washing and ironing and tried to work out how to use our cooker.
Also, it occurred to us today, that we never spent any money yesterday. This is the first day since landing we can say that!
Our guest bed is being delivered tomorrow – yes on a Sunday! House is finally starting to look like a home, not ours yet, but once we start to live in it full-time, hopefully it will feel like home.
