Well the snow hasn’t really stopped for most of the day and we now have a pretty good covering.
It did make the beautiful cardinal stand out though.
According to the weather it will all be gone tomorrow and the temps will be much higher than the -2C or if you include windchill -7C they have been today. Overnight tonight it is going to be -15C apparently.
Over the last few weeks we keep hearing that we will get snow, but as yet none has arrived here. The Barrie area has had a couple of good dumps in the last month and Ottawa was covered a couple of days ago. Now it’s our turn.
We had been promised 20cm last night, but by this morning that had been downgraded, although we have had quite a lot of ice pellet activity.
So far today our garden looks like this.
Nothing too drastic, but it is still snowing, so will have to see it if gets any worse.
