Wildlife galore

The last couple of days has been quite busy for wildlife. We are starting to see more birds etc in the garden including the grosbeak which showed up this morning. In fact we had two males which we have never had before, well at least we had never seen two together before.

We have also started getting lots of different sparrows. We have never seen so many different types of sparrow. This one is a personal favorite of mine.

Yesterday afternoon we also had one of our deer in the garden. It is obviously a young one and looks to be shedding its winter coat. We haven’t seen the deer for a couple of weeks and for this one to suddenly turn up in daylight was quite unusual for this time of year.

We also had our flying squirrel visit the other night. He is so cute with his big bright eyes.
