Lightening strikes
Yesterday we had a spectacular storm which lasted several hours. We had very little rain with it but the thunder and lightening was relentless. Here are some pics taken from our living room window.

We lost power several times over the course of the storm as well as internet access. It was a little worrying as we have a 40ft metal tower at the back of the house for our internet dish. Fortunately we did not get struck, although I personally know someone whose house did get struck and they lost a couple of computers. We have surge protectors and battery back ups on ours, so hopefully if we ever do get struck we will be okay – fingers crossed!

Wow, what awesome pictures. I love a good thunder storm.
We got these by taking a video of the storm and then taking images from it.
We have had some lightening storms like that in Germany, infact a house down our street got struck and the house roof was in flames. We tried to get photos of the lightening but they were awful compared to yours.
Ever since that house got struck ive been terrified of lightening.
