It is unfortunate that Canada does not allow its citizens to vote an absentee ballot if they migrate. DH didn't realize 10 years ago when we married and he moved to the US that his right to vote as a Canadian citizen in a Canadian election would be taken away from him, even though he still pays taxes in Canada.
