Male hummingbird – finally
After many weeks of having the hummingbirds visit our feeders we have yet to get a photo of the male as he never hangs around for long. The female tends to either hover or sit whilst sipping the nectar and stays for some time but the male comes, sips and goes.
But today I was sitting at my desk, looked up and there he was. I grabbed the camera and managed to get two very quick pics. They are not brilliant as I did not have time to set the camera up correctly, but at least we now have proof that he is real.
