Just lately we have had lots of deer in the garden. Most come during the evening and night and therefore it is too dark to get good photos. However one mother and baby come round during the day, sometime several times a day. The mother usually stands in the background watching and making sure everything is safe for baby and the baby comes right over to the deck to eat the food we put out there.
This means that we are literally just a few feet away from the baby whilst it feeds.
Just lately I have been having some problems with my contact lenses. I use the all day & night kind which means I can sleep in them and so can see 24/7 which is great. However I have been using them pretty much constantly for about 15 years which cannot be good for your eyes. So I decided to get some glasses to use in conjunction with my contacts but after trying fifty pairs on in the shop just couldn’t find a pair I liked. Also it was apparent I would have to pay around $500-700 for a good pair, if not more.
I then got to thinking about surgery. Well a LasikMD advert came on the TV and put it in my head. They say you can get each eye done from $490 each. So I started researching. This led me to believe that this price is very unrealistic and will probably be twice that if not more. However not to be put off completely I decided to ask others what they thought. I asked Facebook friends and Twitter friends and everyone that replied had either had the procedure themselves or knew someone who had. All were more than pleased with the results.
Now I have downloaded info packs and looked into it a bit more and it all sounds very good, if not a little scary, so I think I might book myself in for a free consultation. At least that way I am not committing to anything but will know what the treatment involves and more importantly the costs. Then I can make my decision.
