This blog begins in 2004 when my husband and I decided we wanted to move from the UK to Canada. The early part of the blog follows our story of immigration and all the trials and tribulations relating to this long process. We ultimately landed as permanent residents in Canada in July 2006 and live near Belleville, Ontario.
The rest of the blog is dedicated to trips we have made, our life in Canada and most of all the wonderful wildlife we have in our garden and surrounding areas. We love the wildlife and from comments – so do many of my blog reader friends, so I will continue to report on our wild friends as well as more mundane things that happen to us during our everyday lives.
