We now have the final bill for shipping our goods. In total we have 440 kg of stuff in 15 boxes being shipped by air (wrong term I’m sure). The final cost was £1,268 plus insurance which will be £400.
Tomorrow night the house clearance man will come and take away just about everything. So tomorrow we will have to get all out bits together so he can take everything away.
The countdown is on……
Yesterday we received a load of boxes from our shipping company. We are going to start packing things and throwing stuff away that we don’t want to take to Canada.
We are not planning to take any furniture with us and obviously cannot take much of the electrical things, so that just leaves our personal items, books, CD’s, clothes etc.
Had to make a list of everyone we have to contact regarding our change of circumstance such as utilities etc.
It is all starting to get real now.
